So, more trouble with delivery trucks using the thoroughfare to unload. Franly, this is annoying because there is an alley that this truck could unload to just a few steps from the store AND the store encourages its patrons to hand-truck purchases home.
I felt like this was a worthy infraction mainly because the driver had made poor parking job. As you can see, he is parked against the curb, but his port-tail sticks into the bike lane, requiring the bicyclist to leave the bike lane.
14th and R St NW, Washington dc, DC
Two cube trucks and one rig were blocking the bike lane so they could do some unloading/loading, however no one was actively working.
My understanding of DC law is that trucks CAN use the public thouroughfare to unload goods as long as they aren't blocking traffic and there isn't available loading docks, but they are required to set up warning cones.
